I had been led to believe that Swissôtel was a luxury brand but I am not sure this lived up to the promises. Being of not the lowest status in the loyalty programme let's say, I might have expected at least some upgrade, or even them managing to have the 'welcome amenity' available in the room on arrival. Or even having shower gel in the squirty bottle in bathroom, about which I had to notify reception. It was nice to have both a bath and shower but what does one use in the bath? Go to Stockmann next door to get a bath oil, or cup one's hands to transfer the stuff from the squirty bottles in the shower, or employ the nasty soap for the sink? If you claim quality, it's your job to show it. In terms of my status, I should get the premium internet for free but no explanation of that at reception before me having to down to it to get it explained I should just say I'd accept the extra charge but it'd not be billed. Weird. In terms of sleep quality, the bed was as hard as a board. The pillow menu did say it was possible to add some mattress topper or whatever, but like who can be bothered late in the evening. The parking cost a fortune and no special hotel rate, just that of the extortionate public car park. Could make a few more comments but not worth it.

We celebrated our anniversary at the Swissôtel Tallinn with my wife. The hotel and our executive room were truly stylish and magnificent. The staff were extremely friendly, courteous, and helpful. The hotel's services were just the right amount of exclusive and beautifully executed. Our special day was acknowledged in a fantastic way. Thank you! We will definitely come back!

Not great, beds were awful, but overall ok

Overall service was great and staff were very helpful. Our biggest issue was the beds - they were way too hard and very very uncomfortable (and we are eastern european so very accustomed to hard beds!) We had to stack multiple pillows not to destroy our next and asked for extra duvets to put on top of the bed and create some sort of padding, which made them bearable. The spa was great although sorely missing a jacuzzi. We did multiple treatments which were all fantastic and great value. The food in the romance package at the bar upstairs was very disappointing and misrepresented. We thought we would be in the restaurant, not the bar, which is what is says online. Overall not a bad hotel but some issues.

Really bad

Really poor reception service, worn out premises and no table service at breakfast. Minibar would have been free but no one told me about it before check out. Now we were forced to buy really expensive cocktails from rooftop bar.

Lovely staff and excellent breakfast. We also loved the clean and modern facilities. The views from all around the hotel were very nice too. We selected a quite popular time to go to the spa but it was still very nice and relaxing. We got great service the whole weekend all the way from the reception to the top floor bar.
